Ben is a C-level executive, board member, and entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience in business development, venture capital, and asset development in sectors including green real estate, clean tech, and renewables. In 2017 he founded a next generation green independent power producer focused on utility scale hybrid plants and e-mobility in the South Asia region. He has also developed over 2 million square feet of mixes-use real estate projects. Ben joined the NatPower team as a Director of its land and marine divisions. Ben joined NatPower because of its approach to project development – focusing on large scale, high impact projects that set new standards for performance, design and social impact (as well as environmental). As a serial entrepreneur and Founder, Ben’s diverse knowledge base and approach towards company building provides a complement to the more corporate backgrounds of other NatPower team members and is aligned with the inherently entrepreneurial spirit of NatPower. As an avid fisherman and yachtsman, Ben’s personal interests are also well aligned with his role as Director of NatPower Marine and its innovative, industry-leading mission to enable the electrification of the global marine shipping industry.

Senior executive with over 25 years of international experience in marketing sales and strategic business development including 15 years in the shore power sector. He is currently Chief Operating Officer of NatPower Marine overseeing global operational activities including engineering, project management and quality. He supports the expansion of large-scale shore power infrastructure. Previously Global Director Shore Power at Stemmann-Technik (Wabtec Corporation) he played a key role in establishing the company as a leading provider of cable management systems with hundreds of installations worldwide. Georg is also a member of the Executive Board of Directors of EOPSA and Vice Chairman of the Shore Power Purchasing Agreements Working Group actively contributing to the advancement of the global shore power market. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim, Germany.

Asif has led strategic technical research at Oxford University, University of Cambridge, and Imperial College with 50+ publications. Asif has also managed various strategic initiatives in fintech, non-profit, and social enterprises across Europe, Africa, and Asia. He was an advisor to global brands and FTSE companies to achieve business objectives.​

Seasoned investor with +10 years experience in investment banking and private equity, specializing in infrastructure, energy transition and renewables. Most recently James led the finance, investment and funding teams of the Next Generation Renewables platform at Greenergy International, investing in renewables and energy transition businesses before scaling them organically or assisting them in raising further equity and debt capital. James holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford as well as an undergraduate and masters from Imperial College London. ​

Jucilla brings over 18 years of experience in marketing, brand development, digital strategy, and business growth across sectors including maritime, finance, media, retail, construction, and renewable energy. She holds a Master’s in Financial Management and Risk, a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance, and CIM qualifications.

She joined NatPower Marine to help drive meaningful progress in maritime sustainability. Inspired by the company’s mission and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Jucilla focuses on delivering clear, engaging strategies that support the shift to cleaner energy.

Martin is the Development Director at NatPower Marine with focus on leading the development of a global shore power network to accelerate maritime decarbonisation.

With extensive international experience from roles at Maersk, CMA CGM, CEVA Logistics, and Peel Ports, delivering large-scale, sustainable infrastructure and logistics solutions. Martin’s track record includes expanding global shipping services, advancing green corridor initiatives, and leading low-carbon port developments, including the UK’s first green automotive terminal and a RoRo corridor between Spain and the UK.

His key focused is on turning ambition into execution—supporting the delivery of the world’s largest shore power network and enabling ports and shipping lines to transition to clean energy. He holds an MSc in Global Marketing from the University of Liverpool.

Former T&D Practice Director (Europe and India) at Aecom and Head of Electricity Transmission Services (UK) for AtkinsRealis. Engineering and project manager at National Grid UK. Nikola advised energy regulators, renewable energy developers and FTSE network operators. Chartered electrical engineer with PhD in renewable energy.​

12+ years experience in renewables, with the last 7 years in BESS project development. Previous roles include: Business Development Manager for a renewables-focused infrastructure fund with responsibility for originating greenfield development, acquisitions, and joint venture opportunities; Project Manager at Vattenfall leading on UK BESS development activities up to financial investment decision; and as part of the Energy team at Tesla focusing on utility-scale BESS projects across EMEA with responsibility for the commercial aspects of equipment supply, EPC, and service agreements. Holds an MSc in Sustainable Energy from Cardiff University. I joined NatPower as the scale of the ambition excited me. Building at such scale allows projects to make greater difference to national net zero efforts and, also the local communities that host them. I bring strong and varied project management skills to NatPower developed from working on a range of renewable technologies at different stages of the project lifecycle. Working at NatPower is very rewarding, the team that has been assembled is of high calibre, and its been fantastic to utilise my skillset to help drive the company forwards, whilst also learning from my peers. Outside of work, I enjoy music, photography, sports such as running and hiking, cooking gluten-free food for my wife, and being kept busy by my dogs.

With over 30 years’ experience in power generation ,transmission and distribution across the world . In the last 10 years he has worked in the renewable field in development as well as design and construction. Not only working as Project Director and Country Manager but has also worked as UK Project Manager for an international BESS and Solar company , completing the install and operation of several BESS sites across the UK. His experience means he is aware of the many difficulties that can arise as well as how to implement measures to alleviate and remedy these. He is dedicated to getting the best possible solution in a safe and financially expedient manner, while aiming to future proof the asset .This shall enable the Decarbonisation of the countries ports for the future . Further to the above he has won several health and safety and environmental awards during his time as Project Director. Being a Marine Engineer has also been involved in the Defence sector in the UK at the largest navel dock facility in Europe. NatPower Marine appealed to me as they are positive in their approach to environmental issues in the Marine industry. Nat Power are also provide innovative solutions to serious and long standing environmental issues. With my 30 + years of experience I am confident that we shall provide the required solutions necessary to alleviate many environmental issues in the marine world.
